Errors when upgrading to the latest major version
When upgrading to the next major version of our solution you may experience an error.
When upgrading to the next major version of our solution, you will need to ensure you are on the latest version of your current major version.
For example, in order to upgrade from v6 to v7, you'll need to make sure you manually upgrade to the latest version of v6 and then perform the same manual upgrade to the latest version of v7.
The latest available templates for v6, v7, v8 and v9 are available below:
The process to manually upgrade using the above CloudFormation Templates:
Go to the CloudFormation console.
Click into the stack for this deployment (CloudStorageSec-AV-For-S3 is the default name).
Click gray Update button in upper right of page.
Select "replace current template".
Paste in the URL of your template.
Click next, and then next again, and on this final page check the box in the blue dialog and Update stack.
Depending on the version you are coming from it may take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours for the upgrade to complete.
Api Agent Errors
There are some cases after upgrading to v9 that ApiAgent returns an error that there are "too many redirects". This comes from the TargetGroup of the loadbalancer, using port 80 to send the request to the target (ApiAgent), which is expecting 443. Since target groups cannot be edited, the only way to solve this issue is to recreate the ApiAgent. In the Css Console go to:
Monitoring > Deployment > Region where the api agent is > three dots > Delete Api Agent. (Wait for green signs to dissapear).

Go to Configuration > API Agent Settings > add new region > Same region as before > Scroll down Save. (Configuration for the api agent remains the same as the previous one).
Wait until the ApiAgentService is up again, and that should be it (*)
(*) If you have your own SSL Cert, the last step would be to resetup your SSL Cert domain target. Go to Route53, or CloudFlare, wherever you setup your domains, and use the new Loadbalancer domain for the CNAME of the cert.
